Herlev - Herning Last team vs. first team on a table... But is it as easy job for Herning as it looks like?! The fact that Herning won 10 points from 5 away matches is not bad statistics, but only one win (3:2 over Sonderjylland) was over in 60 minute period (after OT and SO they have 3 wins and 1 loss). So, all of their matches played away were pretty close. But, Herning won in 8 last matches (including OTs) so they are on very good run and it's very hard to expect that Herlev will stop that.
Herlev @ home...well, they didn't get a single point at home only in their first match (1:2 vs. Odense) which also means all their matches were close either :roll:
From new injuries Herlev has one more F on injury list - Thor Dresler , while Mikko Luovi got a minor injury in last Herning match and he is marked as questionable. All injured players from before are expecting to miss this game either.

Herlev is obviously having some problems in attack. They scored only two goal in last two matches and because of Herning strong defence I believe Herning will concede max 2 goals and also they are big favourites in my eyes.

Today is on schedule a clash Fredrikshavn vs Rungsted, so a couple of words from me.

Frederikshavn is holding on 8th position, with same number of points as Herlev, but with 3 games less. They won in two league matches, both at home, but they've played only 4 games on home ice so far. They are playing very good hockey lately, especially when their main goalie Lubomir Pisar returned from injury.

All three matches were against the strongest teams right now in Danish hockey league, but they've come out with very good result and 5 points in their pockets. Unfortunately, Dmitri Lavrentiev got an injury in last match and he will be out for 2 months. Christian Skjøth also got an injury, but he has a chance to play today.

Nordsjælland (or Rungsted) Cobras are also doing fine lately, but unexpected 5:6 loss against Sonderjylland (after leading by 3 goals) ruined their selfconfidence a bit, but I'm sure they still have big desire to win this match. 5 points from 5 away matches is not satisfying statisticks for them, but the fact that they won those 5 points in past 2 matches is sign of improvement.

Last season these two teams were opponents in play-off stage and Nordsjælland won 4:3 in series (despite losing first 2 matches).

Both teams are very good attack (especially the guests, who scored 50 goals so far), so I expect very open match with a lot of goals.
