Big derby in BIH premier league on saturday at Vrap***269;i***263;i stadium. With Sarajevo - Željezni***269;ar this is the game that has the biggest tensions in BIH league. It is a well known fact that Velež and Zrinjski supporters literaly hate each other and to wear Zrinjski shirts in Velež (eastern) part of town could mean that you'll get heavily beaten up.
But - let's stick to the game and first see their head to head results :
May 25, 2003 Premier Liga Velez M Zrinjski 4 - 1
Nov 24, 2002 Premier Liga Zrinjski Velez M 1 - 0
After that Velež relegated to 2nd league and is back now with very good performance. Velež at home is very strong  12-3-0 in last season and 15-0-0 in 2004/05 in 1st division! This season they won all 4 home games. So this means 31-3-0 in last 34 games 8)

Velež supporters
Honestly although i'm Croatian and Zrinjski is Croatian club i fancy Velež more. This is a club with great tradition and loyal supporters (i'm not saying that Zrinjski Ultras are not) and although i'm not their fanatic supporter i would rather see them winning here. Saying that Zrinjski has a bit stronger squad that Velež is true but yet home ground advantarge means more than that and this is moral boosting game for every player no matter what is their position at the table.

Zrinjski supporter... 8)
War on the stadium will be among supporters as about 300 Zrinjski fans are expected at Vrap***269;i***263;i stadium but Red Army (Velež supporters) will be much louder no doubt. Zrinjski never won in Vrap***269;i***263;i (lost their last 3 games) and i belive tradition won't change here. Ultras supporters said it is only important to give maximum on the pitch and they won't be unhappy if Zrinjski loses this game. Velež have Zaimovi***263;, Kajtaz, Serdarevi***263; and especially Obad in attack that will try to outplay Zrinjski while guests will count on Smaji***263;, Žižovi***263;, Diarra and especially goalie Mitrovi***263; to stay unbeaten.
More info to come as game is in two days but odds could go down so i suggest you take Velež  1.81 at 10bet with medium to high stakes. GL
Velez - Zrinjski
Muuki covered about everything in this huge game. This is a big rivalry, and these two clubs probably hate each other more than anything. I watched both these teams throughout the season, and can say that Zrinjski have a slight advantage in terms of the quality of the squad. However, BiH teams live off the home ground, and as Muuki said, 31-3-0 record at home by Velez says it all. Both teams will step up and play their best, so this will mainly be a match of who is mentally stronger. Velez do have the amazing fans/home crowd advantage, and their own pitch. The odds haven't changed much, pick Velez, 1,8 @ 10bet
p.s. too bad that girl is wearing a zrinjski shirt... :P
These are my quick previews/picks about some games. However, as I gather more info during the day, I might edit these picks. Everything should be done by saturday.
Modrica - Sarajevo
Modrica are currently in 4th place , while Sarajevo is at the top of the table. Modrica are a very tough team to beat at home, and their record of 3-1-0 at home this year proves that. On the other hand, Sarajevo has finally become a team that can play away from home and and their 3-1-0 away record is the best in BiH. In general, it can easily be said that Sarajevo is the most complete and consistent team in the league. Modrica have been up and down, living off the home wins, and trying to gather at least some points away. But both teams have been of good form lately. Sarajevo have the team to win, and are quality wise better than Modrica. I think they need the 3 points here because they have difficult away matches coming up, including away to Siroki. With a tough match for Zrinjski, this might be a good opportunity for Sarajevo to drift further away from them, and gain some advantage. Pick Sarajevo, 2,98 @ 10Bet., small stakes.
Borac - Jedinstvo
borac is in 11th place while jedinstvo is in a surprising 9th place. However keep in mind that only 1 point seperates these 2 teams. Jedinstvo have one of the worst records away in the BiH league. They are 0-0-6, with GS 3 and GA 14. Borac however are one of the toughers to beat when they play at home. Other than the first loss at the beginning of the season, they are 4-0-0 at home in their last 4 home games. One of their most important wins at home was against Zrinjski. Both teams are inconsistent. They have a couple of games where they are brilliant but then a disaster in the next game. Borac play an open, offensive game leaving holes in their defense. However, Jedinstvo play a much less offensive game but still have holes in their defense, which explains they are the team with the highest GA. Borac have a slight advtange on quality and with the home crowd, they should get the win. Pick Borac, 1.257 @ 10Bet, medium stakes
Except Sarajevo matches most of the results are in favor of home team... What happened other teams in away matches :?: 8O

hehe that is a mystery yet to be solved
It is just the way this league is..home teams play good, away team collapses :) However, there seems to be a trend these last couple of rounds where there is 1 away win, and the rest are home wins.. at least they are not all home wins
Odds on Velež slashed down
BAW 1.80  1.70
10bet 1.81  1.71
Regarding Modri***269;a - Sarajevo game i would say Sarajevo is currently best team in Bosnia and Hercegovina and away points are double bonus in this league. But still Modri***269;a never lost to Sarajevo at home and i don't remember when they lost thier last home game (won 7 out of last 8 ) :
Apr 22, 2006 Premier Liga FK Sarajevo Modrica 2 - 1
Nov 05, 2005 Premier Liga Modrica FK Sarajevo 2 - 0
Apr 30, 2005 Premier Liga FK Sarajevo Modrica 0 - 0
Oct 23, 2004 Premier Liga Modrica FK Sarajevo 0 - 0
May 22, 2004 Premier Liga Modrica FK Sarajevo 3 - 1
Maybe a DRAW with small stakes could be a good bet as i don't like betting on away win in this league even if first placed team would play against last placed.

Sarajevo is maybe for now the best team in BiH but dont play AW. The odds are great but a x2 is more suitable because the President of the bosnian football federation is from Modrica and in BiH believe that is a big factor. :D :D :D 8)
for me and everyone understands how Bosnian premier league functions this is a banker. Record visit is expected tomorow with huge security measures. Velez is favorit no doubt and if zrinjski isnt such high rated on table this year I would predict odds about 1,20 HOME WIN.
Velez without Kadric in defence, Zaimovic vith a litle injury but i think he will play although one or two players injured in games like this does not mean much!
SO pick HOME WIN up to 1,90 local bookies
......................:::1----X----2----1X---- X2
Velež-Zrinjski 1,90 3,10 3,40 1,18 1,62

and the guy who wrote this has a nickname Red_Army...which is the name of the Velez supporters
Regarding this game I think that an AWAY WIN is hardly possible considering a great form of Modrica. Although Sarajevo is better team it does not mean much cause Its very difficult to win away games in Bosnia considering that loosing points at home here causes lot of problems and there are referees who are traditionaly 12-th player of home team.
SO i predict HOME WIN with 2,09 at 10bet
It's banker for sure....
Velez will win...they hate each other...it's politic, it nacional it everthing except sport
10/10 Good luck.
Borac Banja Luka 5-0 (0-0) Jedinstvo Bihac
Modrica 3-1 (2-0) FK Sarajevo
Orasje 4-0 (3-0) NK Celik
Velez Mostar 2-1 (1-0) Zrinjski
Zeljeznicar 1-1 (1-1) Zepce
Velez Mostar 2-1 (1-0) Zrinjski
That certainly was one close call, huh - 90 minute goal right? However, thanks for the pick - i have taken it at 1.80
A goal in the 90th minute and 93rd :)
It was a hell of a match..:)
