Tigers - 3 v Perth Wildcats @1.90 gamebookers
After Peths's winning streak as broken I think that signalled the start of a mini downhill slide.
This should continue when they meet the powerful Melbourn Tigers at home this evening.
This will be an opportuntiy for the Tigers to assert themselves over the Wildcats at the top of the standings, and I feel they may do this in devestating fashion. I would be surprised to see Melbourne win by any less than a 5 point margin tonight so the -3 handicap is a golden opportunity.
Adelaide 36ers - 8 v South Dragons @1.90 gamebookers
South Dragons are in big trouble at the moment. Not only are they sitting at the bottom of hte league table, but their coach bailed out this week and has been replaced by captain/coach Shane Heal. How will this affect the team?
The dragons have won nothing at all this year and have been smashed by more than 8 points on all but one occassion. They have also lost to bad teams like the Breakers and Slingers.
The 36ers haven't had the best start to the year so far, but they have faced some tough teams such as Perth, Brisbane, Wollongong Tigers and Kings.
although 36ers were beaten at home by a big margin last week, they were beaten by the Tiegers so they should not feel too embarrassed.
Before that, they showed that they are getting into form when they thrashed the Crocs. I strongly suggest that the 36ers will be ready to play the game that they played against the Crocs two weeks ago and they will be out to teach the Dragons a thing of two about basketball. Afterall, they perform strongly at home, and know that they can get some easy points agains the struggling Dragons who will be hoping to merely earn a respectable score rather than winning tonight.
36ers big money.
