It is all about motivation in these cup games so the information from inside will be much more important than teams standings or form.
That is why i see a nice value in the Levante DNB 5.50 in Sportingbet.
Atletico is a team i still can't fully trust, they are a naturally unconsistant team and losing to a dog is never something that could surprise me from them.
Now without Maxi and Petrov they will start to struggle IMO, even though they deserved at least a point in La Coruna in their last game.
So, what is the mood in both of these teams i'll let our specialists to say.

Those cup games are low priority somewhere deep below the league. And I expect also many reserves to play...so the players from the weekend matches can take a rest..
Atletico will play with Aguero and Torres in attack while Levante will rotate more according to AS. I will go for Atletico (1.50@ Interwetten).
Which of the 2 matches is better for under? IMO its Deportivo Alaves vs.

Yeah, it could be about motivation, but Atletico announced that Copa Del Rey will be their aim for securing the UEFA Cup spot for the next year.
Despite Maxi & Marto are out, Atletico is still very good team so they can easily beat Levante ;)

Logically Atletico Madrid won't go guns blazing in tonight's game as the manager definitely doesn't want anymore injuries. But the line is set as Levante +1 so I'm guessing Levante is also resting players? Either way the +1 line looks a bit too much imho.

Gimnastic should be interested in Cup matches, although they're fighting for every point to have good chances staying in Primera. Gimnastic won both matches in Secunda last year. Odds like 2.10 on Gimnastic dnb in PointBet is looking nice.
Also, I see value in Zaragoza against Hercules.
Zaragoza is much better team and they will hard and they were very successfull last few seasons in Spanish Cup, so I can't see Hercules stoping them. Hercules is having hard times in Secunda, especially at home where they lost 3 of 4 matches this season. Odds are around 1.70.

it is going to be a hard one to call on this game because on the news last night the trainer was saying that many of the first team players like Ronaldinho would not be playing. Maybe he thinks that Badalona will not be a difficult team but cup games are notorious for creating upsets.
Considering the game last night where Alaves from La Liga 2 managed to hold off for a draw with Celta, I am thinking I might not do too much with these cup games.
On the other hand I may still use BetIE or STW (the Betfair betting software I use) to set up a dutch on X 2
A draw is very good for Badalona because the return game will be in Nou Camp and will mean a nice payday for them.
Anyway I am looking forward to seeing it on the TV anyway. TV3 the Catalan channel are showing it.

Zaragosa traditionally is a copa team. There will be some changes in the initial 11, as coach said, but this time a rematch is taking place... So who cares if they win or draw? Zaragoza can take what they need in the 2nd leg.

I'm still thinking placing a bet on Zaragoza, although teams like Hercules are always dangerous. But, if they lost 3 of 4 home matches in Secunda, I doubt they could do any better against Zaragoza. Medium stakes on this one.
