Well, an interesting game in hand tommorow, the odds definitly aren't the reflection of the real facts with those two teams. Varteks couldn't harm Dinamo, even they were without 7 players( Dinamo), they simply can't find the right "gear" these days. Even with good, young players like Šafari***263;, Jertec, Pokriva***269;, Novini***263; etc. Again this year they have a goalkeeper problem. For tommorow's game they have no major absentees, and the coach, naturally :lol: is convinced in a win.
Šibenik on other hand, started great and surprised everyone this year with their results. Good, firm defensive display, football based on counterattacks works very efficiantly. They almost surprised Dinamo , had a hard day against Hajduk in the last game after missing big chances. They've got hot future star Ante Rukavina in the attack, who is major transfer target for Hajduk and Dinamo these days, Kwedi on the right side who can produce good defesive and attacking display, ***268;aval on the left as well. Unfortunately the club has no web page, so no fresh news about the injuries, although the newspaper say there is no bigger problems.
All in all, if you were to bet on this game, I wouldn't suggest Varteks, as the odds aren't set right, you can get some value in covering
Šibenik x2 @ 2.03( local), or Šibenik score @ 1.4( local).

Well, a game between two in a very bed shape at the moment, Zagreb losing four in a row, Cibalia very inconsistent. Zagreb with it's famous coach ***262;iro Blaževi***263; will be looking for a win, all out attack, very motivated as ***262;iro can do that for a team. Zagreb's main problem is they cannot score. They create chances, have a rather inspiring midfield
(Sopi***263;, Brklja***269;a, Ibri***269;i***263;) but attackers like Mandžuki***263; really aren't at the right level. ***262;iro has one great, very fast attacker Karabogdan on the bench but seldom uses him for no good reason.
Cibalia are really a mediocre team, with few players like Zeki***263;, Bagari***263; standing up the rest of them. They had a crisis earlier this week, and the coach Meštrovi***263; stepped down and they are still looking for a coach as far as I know. Football isn't remarkable at all, and they are a typical home team, with a good crowd and fans.
Sadly, none of the two teams has it's web pages( some of us still live in the Ice Age), so there are no fresh informations about the injuries etc. but the newspaper will be saying more tommorow, so if someone is interested I will be happy to share the news.
All in all, I would see the value on Zagreb, though the odd should be set higher regarding the current form, also I would consider under 2.5 @ 1.85, but you never know in these kind of games...

Here a big favorite against un underdog. However Hajduk miss three of their first team players Miladin, Musa and Carevi***263;. Musa and Carevi***263; are key midfield players, and it is too be seen can they be replaced. Miladin isn't such a big miss, although he is the capitain he plays simply as there is no one other to play there. But still I think they are a great club, much bigger then Pula, with good players and at home they will find the net at least once.
Pula lost against Rijeka last weekend, played badly, and they are a typical home team, very succesful at home but as soon as they leave Pula they're other squad. No further advice, take Hajduk, it's a price that is worth taking.

Uh... a hard one to predict. Kamen Ingrad somehow overcome their club crisis, the firm that sponors the club was on the edge of bancrupcy, with their chairman in jail, but they are showing signs of life, and played very good last weekend beating Cibalia on the road. History shows that Slaven never won in Velika, not only that they didn't win but they managed to stay undefeated only once. They have some good players in the team, as Brajkovi***263;, old Muj***269;in, Sivonji***263;... The team spirit should be good after the last encounter.
Slaven has some problems as Poldruga***269; and Peji***263; are unavailable for tommorow. Coach Scoria, one of the most talented in the country and wider, is asking for fighting spirit, but expects a hard day in Velika.
I would say no bet, if you decide to I could suggest a draw with low stakes...
Rijeka-Me***273;imurje 1.35 3.95 8.30
A match I can't be realistic on, as my team will be playing. But, I' ll do my best. :wink: Rijeka have only Renduli***263;, the left back missing. He will be replaced by much more attacking Pami***263;. Rijeka after much turbulence finally won last weekend, under new coach Bra***269;un, with fighting spirit and will, but not with a good football. Bra***269;un is a kind of coach that would do everything for a result, paying the price of "uglier" football etc. Captain Šari***263; will be back on the right back, everyone else ok and waiting.
Me***273;imurje started well this season, and hold themselves in the great 5th place. They too however a very home team, this difference in Croatia between displays at home and away is much bigger than in other leagues i think, and it affects the teams much, so don't wonder... Me***273;imurje never won in Rijeka, but they managed to score everytime, and cosidering Rijeka's defense wild moments this could be the case again. So, at a price of 1.65 for Me***273;imurje to score you could consider taking the bet.
But, Rijeka, at home, with a new coach, a new aproach for the game, almost all players fit and ready for the game, support from the stands... Me***273;imurje should be left without everything. All but a convincing home win would be a great surprise.

And I guess you are in close relations with Kamen's board? Kamen is without money, so tell me, how could they possibly arrange that match if they don't have any cash? Why would Cibalia sell a match if it needs points also? I mean, common, 11th club on the table played against 12th. Maybe Kamen is in pertty bad situation but they surely didn't forgot how to play football. And Cibalia is far from being a trustable team. Moreover, taking 1.50 with high stakes on a team who is one of main candidates for relegation? 8O

I do write my own previews. But you're not mentioning more-less important things like absences. In your Varteks - Sibenik preview you didn't write 4 very important missings for Sibenik. That's why jutarnji.hr, vecernji-list.hr, sportnet.hr are for. Don't get me wrong, I'm trying to help. You just need to pay attention to these thing 'cause they are important. Sve pet kompa ;)
I also have to add about Sibenik....from earlier this season they don't have on disposal: goalkeeper Matas, midfielders Kova***269;evi***263; and Selak and attackers Govi***263; & Gu***263;, more or less important players. Anything could happen in that game. For me over 2.5 is the best solution in that match.

Hm, bankers...Rijeka & Hajduk should be clear home wins IMO, there's nothing much to write about Hajduk - Pula match. As for Rijeka:
2006-10-21 Rijeka (-1) - Medjimurje
Rijeka got back on the winning road in last match against Pula away. After they sacked coach Skocic and appointed Bracun, they had enough time to put their heads together and prepare for Pula. It was a shaky performance but in the end, with gifts from Pula's GK Ivesa they took all three points back to Rijeka. As for Medjimurje, they are on a good run lately, 3 wins out of 3 games. But the thing is, they played against easy opponents. First against poor Cibalia at home, then against troubled Kamen away, and in last match they defeated Zagreb, club that fell in some kind of crisis(3rd defeat in a row).
Rijeka can't count on winger Rendulic(red card) and injured defender Tkalcevic, whilst I can't find good info about Medjimurje. Still, Rijeka is clear favorite in this one IMO, they got a new, very good coach, they got confidence in last game, hopefully they worked on stability. Quality is on Rijeka's side and I think they can score two or three goals against unstable team like Medjimurje. I don't think Medjimurje's defence can neutralize Rijeka's good attackers Bule, Sharbini and Tonito(man of the match against Pula, scored two goals) While 1.40 is good I'll go for handicap in this one which pays 1.95 and I think it's worth a shot. No real bankers, friend. Rijeka(-1) certainly isn't a banker. We won our first match after some time against Pula but we didn't play well. As long as we have clowns like Bule and Kerkez in first 11 we will not win easy against anyone. I'll be ispod ure supporting this guys pick but my money stays in the pocket on this occassion :wink: [/i]
The rain stopped and its getting lighter so chances for Rijeka technicians to play a good game are getting better. I still wouldn't advise playing HC but seems HW is certain afterall. Actually I hope so :roll:
dinamo under 2.5 is quite realistic.
1 on rijeka and hajduk.both teams are playng home and i think that this three tips are quiet secure.
Rijeka will miss Rendulic and Tkalcevic, but the new coach Bracun is sure in home win. Rijeka finaly won a game and now they are full of confidence, i must agree that this is a sure home win, because Rijeka has better players and advantage of the home court.
But if you ask me the real bankers this week are Zagreb and Dinamo,
Zagreb's coach Ciro has prepared his team for this game, beacuse in the case of a bad result he will be fired..Zagreb has much more better team and coach, and cibalia are in big problems(lost last game 3:0 at home), this is a banker! And now Osijek - Dinamo, this is a clear away win, Ante Vitajic won't play for osijek because of the injury, and Dinamo will finaly have full squad(except Chago).Nowotny probably won't start the game, because Kuze doesn't want to risk him getting injured again.Oh yes, Kuze must lead Dinamo to victory because any other result will get him fired. Well I wouldn't call it a banker. But, nevertheless, impressive win of Dinamo. Miroslav Zitnjak has a lot to learn, but I think, he won't learn his profession in Osijek much longer... :)
