Centre Court (from 14.00hrs)
1. Srebotnik vs. Dementieva
2. Kuznetsova vs. Jankovic
3. Schiavone vs. Bacsinszky (NB 18.00hrs)
4. Peer vs. Sharapova
5. Raymond/Stosur vs. Jankovic/Morariu
.................................
Katarina Srebotnik 2.47 To Beat
E. Dementieva 6-7/10 - I wait this game for two weeks - from that match between this two at Porsche Tennis Grand Prix , when Elena beat Srebotnik after a thriller in wich Kata almost beat herself  . But Dementieva was totally unsportiv in that event and I"m sure that Srebotnik is waiting like hell this moment for a great revenge :!: .Kata passed Pierce in stile in the first round and tomorow nobody will stay in her way to punish Elena
I think we have two bankers here: one is Sharapova, and the other is double Raymond/Stosur.
Sharapova is number 3 and plays best on hard court. Furthermore, H2H is 2:0 for Maria and she beat Shahar right on hard court twice. Peer is in good form but she***8217;s just not good enough to beat world number 3 at the moment.
Raymond/Stosur is best double in the world. Also play great on hard. Jankovi***263; didn***8217;t play with Morariu often and that is very important in doubles tennis, to play with somebody continuous.
Besides that, Jankovi***263; has very tough single match before with Kuznetsova, and I doubt she will have enough will and power to play with double number one.
So I***8217;ll take Sharapova+Raymond/Stosur with high stakes.
Dementieva was totally unsportiv
Meaning every player who got injured during a tennis game is making it on purpose? She didnt called the doctors while losing, as much as I remember. And beating Pierce is not much of achievement these days. Also, one thing is to want to revenge, another thing is to be able to do that. Of course, tricky match, but Elena`s having first chance here. Smth like 65-35 for me.

Nice picks. Agree with you 100%. Any thoughts about the Schiavone-Bascinsky match?

morever, Dementieva didnt play well throughout the moscow tournaments with her being broken for quite a no. of times in those games.

but most likely she was really injured as she didn't played the next match against SCHNYDER and she withdraw (W/O ) ..
not saying it is a bad bet. but the injury/revenge thing shouldn't be a Real factor.
things to consider also H2H is 6-0 (including 2 this year)
im with srebotnik aswell. Elena is such a talented player but when her serve is off (alot of the time) she is awful. She cannot be trusted and whilst i believe she is the better all round player then srebotnik i think it will be a close match and katrina has good odds which i will take

Nice picks. Agree with you 100%. Any thoughts about the Schiavone-Bascinsky match?
For sure Bascinsky at 5.0 odds is worth taking,no way theres such a differnce betwen this to players, expecially if you look how nice did Bascinsky played trough the quallies and first round...and the home crowd should make a difference
i agree with Srebotnik
fine surface for her..last year she beat mauesmo 6-0 6-2 here
first round win against Pierce
in stuttgart Srebotnik lead 6-4 4-1...its time for revange
How is Sharapova condition?
Wasnt she injured in Moscow?
It was only "a little" right foot strain and now everything should be OK. I think his father decided to pull out from Moscow and concentrate to this tournament and of course Madrid WTA Tour Championship on November.
But there is also a rumour Maria is little bit exhausted (?).
There is huge difference in level between these girls so I took Sharapova -4 games @1.85 GB.

She is only seventeen and has no experiences matches against top players. Also Timea is better on clay.
Fransesca is at least one level better player and if she is on normal condition this would be 2-0 to Schiavone. She was on QF here last year.

I still feel Sharapova has the weapon to trouble her.
