The bourg game looks 1 definite under total points, the line will be about 141 points. And it's worth a shot, because Bourg doesn't let opponents score much(good defence) and they can't score much either. :D

Home : Besancon is a middle / high scoring team, especially at home. Interior play is efficient
Away : Bourg found its games and expected scorers (Owens ans Wilson) are ready now. Bourg scores more and more.
We must wait for the line and be careful.

Cholet is in must win situation, they have changed their coach this week and they will win this one.
My picks for today :
Cholet - Clermont : Cholet ML. Cholet has recently changed the coach, new coach is Erman Kunter but he is not qualified for tonight. Nevermind, Cholet is playing at home, in a win-or-die game agains a middle level opponent. They could have won their last game at home agaisnt Chalon so they can do that but I avoid HC because I expect a thin margin victory.
Hyere Toulon - Le Mans : Le Mans will play with new PG Tyson Wheeler, excellent experienced player who played last season with Gravelines. I mention that because I think it can accelerate its adaptation. But also Nicevic is back and this is for me the main point. Hyere Toulon on the other side is a good period but with this team good periods are never really long. I expect big pressure from Le Mans so Le Mans ML
Nancy - Gravelines : I still don't know if Julian will play today (maybe hand injurie). Gravelines seems to me on a good trend, maybe also Rashon Turner will be back. Nancy played on sunday and Cedrik Banks scored 36 pts with big % on 3pters, maybe he will not score so much tonight 8O . All that to say that I found a Gravelines + 8.5 on Betfair and decided to take it, for sure avoid Nancy - HC
Roanne - Orleans : to keep in touch with head of rankings Roanne needs a win after last loss 81 - 77 against ASVEL. But Orleans will not let Spencer and Harper shoot like mads. So I feel under 157.5 here...

Julian will not play, and this is a quite big handicap for nancy under the basket.

If I had to choose I would choose also Cholet - Clermont because in the other game do not forget my preview : Besancon is generally a good scoring team at home (problem for this time is possible absence of J. Ruzic) and Bourg scores more and more.

Bourg hasn't scored in any match over 70 points. Don't think they will score more than that. Just Besanon could score more and this will go over easily... I think it maybe even matter of seconds of 4th quarter and it still will go over... :roll:

I was writing a analyse on Nancy grevelines but my computer has stammerer :x :x :x .
I take Nancy -7.5 and Cholet ( more sure with new coach ).

Cholet Basket - Clermontois Basket
Very important game for Cholet. They changed their coach but new one is not available yet for this game for some reason (I did not understand in French for what reason correctly). So the important game without old coach and without new one. Usually such factors give a boost for team and this is the first reason why I expect full strenght and motivated Cholet at home, but unfortunately I still don't trust them to give them easy home win but I expect them to fight in defense as they always do.
Clermoint have 1-5 record and they have new signing Fason from Reims. But even this does not help them, they still have troubles in offense where they score 66 points as well as they opponents from Cholet. And both teams allows 75-77 points in defense in average. But today they will meet each other and seems that any of these teams simply can't score 75+ points. Clermoint scored 81 points against Racing but that's all due the one quarter when they scored 29 points (while only 51 points during other 3 quarters).
I expect this game to be close and difficult one for teams with a total about 135-139 points and not 145 like bookies expect.

Roanne-7,5 : Orleans @ 2,0 (Pinnacle)
No doubt that Roanne is better team, their main problem should be short bench, but actualy Orleans has even worse situation, as they are playing from the begining of the season without 3 useful players for rotation and today aditionaly Orleans surely without starter Dewar, F, av. 12pts & 5rb in first 5 matches. Also another starter Fellah, G, was injured in last match and is questionable.
I think that Roanne should eaisily win with double digit diff, as Orleans will have big problems to be in touch with high scoring team as Roanne is.
Also took Gravelines+8,5 but not available on net beter than +6,5 now, maybe in locals you can still found. No reason to back Nancy here with abscence of Julian and possibility that Gravelines best player, Turner make his debut after injurie.
My third choice is Besancon-5 as IMO they have better and longer roster than Bourg. Eaisily won last preseason game against Bourg. Besancon's starter Ruzic J., F, is questionable because of shoulder injurie (played only 15min in last game, av 11pts & 6rb in first 4 matches). Bourg's USA starter Kelly, G, is injured and will not play (he came with good stats from NCCA, but wasn't at expected level, av 6pts & 5rb in first 5 matches). Chelle, G, should return after injurie, but his last year' stats are poor, av 11 min, 3pts & 1rb.

Chalon doesn't lost in his Colysée since november 2005 and I don't think they will loose tonight. The team plays very good actually and Le Havre, the surprise of the season in LNB (with the poor beginning of Le Mans, Strasbourg and Pau) will be a serious opponent with his young and talentuous players. The 2 teams are second with 4 victory - 1 defeat but Chalon was more impressive in his success...
Le Havre has one the best defence actually in LNB and this point will be the key of the match. But Chalon with Best, Guice, Laure, Corosine or Kone has the players to score...
In Le Havre, John Cox who is back in Chalon after the last season is not at the top after a light injury in Chalon. It may be important because Cox has the time of play in Le Havre is an offensive player with 12,4 points this year and the best for free throws. But maybe an intox for this information :wink: .

New coach Erman Kunter is not qualified for tonight game that means he has signed a contact with Cholet but he not allowed to play for that match (question probably of a rule of french federation)
But he is engaged by the club and it is almost as if he were here.
He was coach previously in France for ASVEL and was concentrated on tactical factors so I expect this to have an impact for tonight and as I said previously Cholet ML (avoid HC because margin will be thin).
