Of course that she can , she"s not injured also , I saw her match against Dementieva last week and I can say that she had the match in her hands but she failed to beat Elena in the phihological moments . Last year she put out Mauresmo here at Zurich reaching QFinal :!: when she lost in front of Ivanovic. Today will face the old Pierce ...the oponent that Srebotnik already beat at Zurich in 2003 :wink: :

Ok its true she was injured. In Luxemburg she lost aginst Bondarenko (Bonda won that turnament at the end - on that turnament she beat Srebotnik 2 and her game was superb). Second match after injury was last week in Stuttgart. I saw match aginst Jankovic and i can say she was playing 1st set on high level. It is unpredicable match but i think Marry will win this one and reach 2nd round finaly. I will take Pierce medium stakes.

Yeah … Mary had problems with injuries and that was the reason why she participated on only seven tournaments so far. Nowdays i think everything is OK with her. Hmmm … i can't say she was 'very' bad on previous two tournaments because she was not. She had two tough opponents maybe it could be different if she get easiest one (Alyona was playing very good tennis in Luxembourg while we all know how good Jelena is). Still Pierce is soooo not trustable at the moment , at least from my point of view. Everything is ok when she is serving … against Jankovic she was serving pretty well also hit some nice forhand/backhand winners. Problems appear when she need to make a break and also when she is not dictating a rally. Against Jelena this was simply impossible (same stuff against Alyona) because Mary is such a poor mover. On moments she looked pretty funny because Jelena's shots down the line were simply unstopable. Jelena showed how you need to play against Pierce -> try to move her around the court and hitting balls down the line and that's it … pretty easy (at least it sounds so but in theory it's harder). I think thats the recepie. Katarina is able to play on similar way (well not so good as Jelena ...), also serving/holding is not such a problem for her. One way how Pierce can slow her down is to play on Kata's weak backhand side. IMO this can be a close match ... anyway no bet for me (only live betting, need to see how Pierce will move today, also Kata with unnecesarry errors can make many complications and Mary could use that).

From Zurich today I will take Yang/Zheng against Kuznetsova/Molik. Yang/Zheng are an exelent pair. They have won 2 Grand Slams this year. I think that Kuznetsova and Molik are a good couple too but 1.7 on Y/Z win is valuable for me. I ll take it with medium stakes 6/10.
