Plymouth Raiders v Leicester Riders

Leicester are generally available at 2.35 at 10bet bet365 and pinnacle and are my pick for tonight.
I like the look of their squad this season and they appear to have one of the deeper benches of most teams. They are currently 1-2 in the league but are a better team than this. They threw away their first game and then lost to in form Milton Keynes on Sunday. They were able to beat Sheffield last Friday and I rate Sheffield as better than Plymouth. Leicester should be one of the top two or three teams soon so 2.35 is a good price for tonight.
Plymouth are a useful team who on their day may cause a surprise -I just hope it will not be the case tonight

5 points on Leicester tonight

Friday 13 October. Tip Off 7.30pm BST
Sheffield Sharks 1.40 v Milton Keynes Lions 2.81 Expekt

My initial reaction to this game was to make Milton Keynes abot 4.5 - 5.5 favourites to win. I was therefore quite pleased to see that the bookies make Sheffield 5 point favourites instead. I can only assume that they have based their price on last seasons stats and finishing position where Shefield were 3rd and MK 8th. Sheffield also had a good home record as well.

MIlton Keynes have assembled one of the stronger looking squads for this season with the major concern being their avarage age. It also means it is very experienced with many years playing at this level. To compliment it looks like they have one of the stronger imports in Terrell Brown who had a good game last week and outplayed TJ Walker from Newcastle, who has regularly been in the BBL select team at the end of the season. With Brown filling the point guard position capably they look strong in all departments and will give most teams a run for their money as long as they are well motivated. Cruically for tonight they have a lot of height in Jamison and New whereas Sheffield could struggle here with their only centre being Cage. MK also have a much deeper bench than Sheffield. This could be key as the main scoring threat from Sheffield could be Burns who is a streaky three point shooter. If he can be kept quiet and the threat of Bonds nullified then Milton Keynes should win tonight.
