Two fixtures tomorrow for LNB. We have already a first image on the teams, however, let me remind u that LNB is one of the most tricky championships in Europe, a very athletic basketball is played, where physical situation of a team might overcome talent lacking.

 Le Havre vs. Nancy (3rd round)
 Le Mans vs. Chalon (5th round)

In a first - general- approach i believe we have seen that we should pay attention to Pau and Le Mans (in a very bad shape), ASVEL, Nancy and Roanne (in a teriific state), but also to Pari and Gravellines that seem to have some talent and character, but imo they are capable of better and worse.

:!: First difference i've noticed in the odds is the under on Le Havre vs. Nancy, where sportingbet is giving at 156,5 contrary to most bookies setting the line at 154,5. I expect it to confront with the others until tomorrow morning, so if u believe in the under its a good time to take it.

:arrow: Some first news on the first game amongst Le Havre and Nancy (based on www.lnb.fr preview);

In game late third day of Pro one HAS, Nancy returns visits to the Havre, the timeliness for the SLUC to rejoin the adecco ASVEL and Roanne in head of classification. But for that, it will be necessary to beat a team havraise always difficult to maneuver, notably to the Docks Océane where she already dropped pau-orthez (76-61).

The native ones of Nancy not steps again are assured to be able to count Tuesday on the presence in the Maxim Zianveni.

In case of absence d' "Air Max", this will be at Victor Samnick that will return the try to take care of the Havrais Joah Tucker, that turns to 17,7 points and 7,3 rebonds since the season beginning. Other shock to oversee, the one that will oppose the native one of nancy Cyril Julian,

better man of the 4th day with 23 points and 17 rebonds to the Havrais Ali Traoré, who managed 11,3 points and 7,3 rebonds in average since the season beginning.

As you said, the first four days of LNB went crazy. favorites like Pau, Le Mans and Strasbourg have a 1/3 record while everybody tought they would fly this season.
No need to say that this is a must win situation for Le Mans, the french champion who lost to newly promoted orleans on a buzzer beater 3 this saturday.
Chalon won on the road at Cholet, and their confidence is big. Jermaine Guice will come to face his former team after a disappointing season and im sure he will be motivated to cause some damage.
Chalon is a team that lives and dies with the three point shot. Coach Beugnot is someone who is also really defensive minded. The key for them is that if they have a good percentage from downtown they can make life really difficult for LeMans. Otherwise they might just melt down as they did in Nancy.
The champion's form might not be the best at the moment but they rarely lost at home against much lower team. They can always count on a great D (Bokolo, Cambell and Gregory) and a great team play.
All in all, I cant see Chalon winning here but wont touch the handicap. Under might be the best option here

Le Havre/ Nancy is a another tough game.
First of all the coaches of both teams are brothers!!! They are both excellent, know each other very well, which in that context, playing in Le Havre, tends to fill the gap between these teams.
Even if for me, Nancy is my favorite to winning the crown, i tend to go for Le havre. Their start have been relatively convincing (winning against weak pau), they are always difficult to handle in their crazy gim, they often wins at home against bigger team. Plus traditionnally, Nancy really struggles to play with them

I will wait for more info and comme back tomorrow with final thougts.
But for sure i would not touch the under here just because nancy was last year the team with the best offensive play and they might have gone better with the addition of banks and an improved shooting touch by Kirksay

Nice previews guys. I am thinking to bet on Chalon Saone +9.5. This line is in my local bookie in Greece. As you said Le Man is in a bad form and very poor in offence ... 69 against Dijon, 45 against Villeurbanne, 59 against Orleans and only against Sole scored 82pts. My friend of the previous post mentioned Yannick Bokolo and i see his scoring after 4 games ... 1+14+3+0. Something is going on! In the last game played only 5 minutes. Was it a coacd dicision or he has problems with injury maybe. Futhermore great center Sandro Nicevic injured against Orleans(played only a minute) and my information is that he won't play. I would appreciate if someone confirm this. Chalon Saone 2 narrow wins ... 73-67 away to Sole, 71-62 to Dijon at home. Good defence! I know the line (until now) is +7 but if you had +9.5 would you bet on Chalon? Sorry for my English

+9.5 is a great handicap. Le mans is really in bad trend, and bokolo and nicevic were injured against orleans. I don't know if they will be ready tonight but not 100% for sure. John best was injured against cholet too, don't know about tonight.
Value is on chalon +9.5 for sure....

Le Havre - Nancy
Both teams showed great defensive skills in first 3 games but their h-2-h have another trend:

Preseason:
STB Le Havre - SLUC Nancy 102-83
STB Le Havre - SLUC Nancy 74-92 (58-27)

2005/2006 season
Nancy - Le Havre 103:89
Le Havre - Nancy 85:805

One more interesting trend to consider is that Nancy scored 20+ points in 10 of 12 played quarters this season.

Fresh H-2-H stats are more important for me than new season results so I will take over 151.5 here.

Pick: Over 151.5 @ 1.85

Lines have dropped impressively as was expected, currently at 151,5 at sportingbet! Under these circumstances, the pick by bet-on-basket maybe righteous.

eventually, zianveni travelled wit the team and is expected to play for nancy
Over 151 looks really good in this match cause both teams are in great form and Le Havre has a great offense at home while nancy is offensively impressive everywhere they play.

On the other game, nicevic will not play, while bokolo is doubtful. At the moment, le mans is of the worst attack and barely scored over 70, but they are also the 3rd defense allowing less than 70.
This game should go under, but if i have to choose, i'm more confident on the over in Le Havre game
