ps. Lille very poor defense 1-3 touluse, lyon 1-4. Milan good defense and good offense in my opinion AW and UNDER, corret score 0-2, 0-1
for me this is classic under.liile games last year in CL were almost all under,and milan dont have to push too much they will be satisfied with 0-1,0-2 score like always or maybe 0-0(italians) 8)
Milan with Inzagi in front has no chance here in France ,is not that old Milan in the past ..onlu Kaka is producing something nowadays in the squad.

Milan boss Carlo Ancelotti has a number of defensive injury worries to deal with on the eve of the Champions League match with Lille.
Captain Paolo Maldini limped off during Saturday’s match with Livorno and will face a one-month absence, confirming he has not yet fully recovered from his long-term injury last year.
Veterans Alessandro Costacurta and Marcos Cafu are also struggling, as well as Alessandro Nesta, who continues to suffer muscular problems, but should be part of Tuesday’s match.
Converted left-back Serginho is suffering from a slipped disc and will probably need to undergo surgery, which is likely to keep him out for a number of months.
Ancelotti is aware of the importance of the match and knows that the rotation of his men is the best possible.
“This is the most important match of the group face, as we will face the strongest team away from San Siro,” said Ancelotti before the team’s departure from the Malpensa airport.
“They have been doing very well and are a dangerous side. They play dynamic and aggressive football.
“We will have to try to keep full control of the situation, but it won’t be easy because they are very fast and dangerous when they attack.
“A victory would be the best possible outcome and would solve most of our worries about the Champions League. I will have to rotate the players though, as turnover is the only solution.
“I am not concerned about the fact that the team seemed a bit tired at the end of the match with Livorno – it’s normal when you have to play so often.”
Lille warmed up for the game with a disappointing 4-1 defeat to Lyon in their Ligue 1 clash at the weekend.

Strikers: Borriello, Gilardino, Inzaghi, Ricardo Oliveira.
Gourcuff - questionable (neck injury)
Gilardino - IMO he needs few games to play on his normal level (return)
Inzaghi - against Livorno he was alone in the arena (not enough passes from partners) datasport.it gave him 5.5 for the match (1-10)
R. Oliveira - datasport.it gave him 5.0 he should score a goal in 90+2 min. when he was 1 on 1 with Livorno's keeper
Borriello - poorly against Ascoli
As Milan fan I must say that this team needs good striker, Sheva come back :)
Under 2.5 goals seems to be the best option here, maybe I'll take draw HF.

I picked OVER 2 @ 1.952 in Pinnacle.
I saw the summary of Anderlecht x Lille and was impressed by the attacking power of Lille. They had plenty of chances before they equalized.
On the other hand their defense suffered seven goals in the last two games.
Milan has a lot of players with scoring skills: Seedorf, Pirlo, Kaka, Inzaghi and Gilardino. Not to mention Ricardo Oliveira that can replace one of the forwards if they do not deliver.
Additionally Milan has problem in the defense as mentioned in the previous posts.
Milan will play for the three points in order to ensure their place in next phase as soon as possible, so they can concentrate in Serie A. Lille has nothing to lose here, they will also play for a Win.
I am quite sure both teams will score, so OVER 2 is a very good option

can't believe firewall can define this game as an eight out of ten home win for lille. This is fifty fifty for sure. Lille have home advantage but haven't exactly been looking hot in france, ac might have drew with livorno at the weekend but are still unbeaten in Italy and have had a good a start as anyone there. The injuries, the lack of goals and the fact that despite what he says Ancelotti will be happy with the point means I won't back them either, but eight ouf ten lille win against a side that still has kaka,pirlo, gattuso is just nuts.
Oh and as a Millan fan I don't think we miss sheva, true we need a striker badly but sheva is showing in england what he was in millan towards the end that he isn't the player he once was.

I don't see how can Lille score?Italians will play usualy (strong defence) and
wait a chance from the counter attacks ,or free kicks (Pirlo).
My bet x2 10/10 ,and also this is great game for under.
I'll take AW here. There are just too many holes in Lille's defence and Milan will score for sure at least 1 goal. Italian way of playing is DEFENCE and, for me, AW by 1 goal margin is 7/10
Icant deal with those who decide to OVER , LIlle always plays defensive football in CHL, remember last year?most matches were under,I'm sure Milan knowsthat and the game will be rather close,I also can't see Milan winning here, my pick is Under 7/10 , 1X 5/10 and my banker : !st half under 1.5 with 1.35 9/10[/b]

very look like an under game,Lille defence minded team but not good at this yet this season , on the other hand Milan ,very good defence and attack... I dont know after Live-Milan champions league final with 4-4 score and whole the world bet on under,it was about 1.30 for under i think just before the match :) , risky i think with already 1.48 for under...
i ll skip it better...

I think that AC Milan can score an early goal (as they did vs. Zvezda in the prelemenary round), and than they'll play the same old defense game that Carlo Anceloti loves so much!....

Milan DC has about 75-80 % chance, quite sure bet IMO.
UNDER is more probable outcome than OVER of course, but one never knows with these TOTALS :roll:
