After my unfortunate mishap last night I'm in for a struggle to take top spot away from casabel, still three bets to go and some 300 points to claim.

So ok, I'm returning to Sweden's Bandy league (Expekt & Unibet has the offers)

Edsbyn has a very good side this season, added interest and support after they put a roof over their arena and a solid team overall. They lost a little unfortunate to Sandviken on Wendesday but they played the 2nd best team in the world so...
Anyway Ljusdal is close by, so it's sort of a derby game but Edsbyn is the better side and should be looking for points after their loss to SAIK.
The better team by two goals.

my pick for today:

Detroit - N.Y. Islanders

Detroit may be the last place the Islanders want to be because they have not won there in six years. They've lost four straight and six of their last seven at Joe Louis Arena.
New York has just two wins in its last 15 games (2-10-3) against the Red Wings.
Best game for tongiht, detroit smashed Edmonton last game by 7-1, and now Isles are going to loose to. Why? For example, they lost from poor Carolina 0-2, and tonight's goaltender is Snow, not DiPetrio. Islanders play on saturday vs Divison rival Philladelphia, so i expect that they will keep their strenght for tomorrow.

Isles goaltender Snow 3.23 GAA and with .833% saves. He hasn't won away game since 4.9.2003 @ ottawa. Last 5 away game he lost 4 and one tie.

Detroit for me 9/10 stake bet....

Genoa vs Palmero pick 2 AH level ball at 2.05 point bet

Palmero is Serie B leader, only one loss in away match. They can win if they want to as they got the best squad in Serie B. Their form is great. Genoa is also a good team, but it did not perform consistently...sometimes it let goals in too easily.

Orlando Magic -1,5 to beat Toronto Raptors @1,9 WH

Magic are 0-8 at home, 1-14 overall, but this slump can't last eternity. I didn't watch any game of those teams but Orlando gathers positive opinions about its play and some last thier games have shown that everything they lack is a little bit more luck. Raptors away are far from impressive- they've recorded a 2-5 mark in thier 7 games so this is real chance for hosts to bounce back.

NHL:

Dallas - New Jersey - 1 @ 2.0 (William Hill)

Very good odds for home team are available and I'll take them. New Jersey is unbeaten in last 13 games and that is a huge streak for competition like NHL is. So I believe that this streak will be ended tonight. New Jersey is also unbeaten in away games so far and their unbeaten streak in away matches is 15 games! 8O I just don't like stuff like that when one team is achieving results like NJ is at the moment and then I start betting against them.
Dallas has very good squad and after 7 games without a win they won three out of four. They are playing better and I think they should be the favourites in this match and not the guests. Dallas won their last two home matches and this streak has more chances to go on than the streak of NJ. This match will be the 3rd away match in 4 days for NJ and I think they will be a little tired already and Dallas should be able to take advantage of this.
So odds like 2.56 at Betfair for home win looks very tempting to me. Also 2.0 at WilliamHill for overtime included (and your money returned if the match finishes in tie) looks nice.

DAL try for 10th consecutive victory against DEN>Mavs won 4th straight on the road since losing here 27 january 2001.They have 4th winning streak snapped on road at Phoeniz 90-120 on wed.Thiir leading scorer Nowitzki sprained hi ankle in 1st qtr and probably miss this game.Mavs are expecting fine forward Fortson ,he shoved Cabarcapa late in the game ,called flagrant foul and was ejected.Dal won only 2 from 7 on the road.
DEN won 3 out 4 last gamesafter rout of PHO 110-80 on tue.Nuggets won 7 from 8 games home this season.
I think Mavs have too much scorers and without Nowitzki other players like Finley,Jamison can be more shooting chances.For my Mavs are better team than Nuggets and expect their win tonight.
PS.sorry, i know my pick it's 25 min before start but i returned now from
party and pick it before i to have 4 pick before finish with 15 pickand writing it i lost about 30min.Maybe it will be count to competition...
