"Northwich boss Steve Burr looks set to reshuffle his pack for Monday's visit of high-flying Grays Athletic.

Stephen Payne, Terry Barwick and Jon McCarthy were all restricted to bench roles for Saturday's 5-1 drubbing at the hands of Oxford, but all three could start against Grays.

Chris Williams is a definite absentee with a broken leg while a decision will be made on Danny Mayman, who is struggling with a calf injury.

Apart from Denis Oli, Grays manager Frank Gray has no injury worries ahead of the trip to Vics.

Oli is an extreme doubt after the striker sustained a knock during the 3-0 win over Woking, with John Turner favourite to step into the breach."

why odds so good for dagenham? you can do a draw no bet for dagenham with odds 1.44 which to me is very good value.

Manager John Still is still unable to call on the services of Tim Cole (calf) and Paul Bruce (groin) while Lee Goodwin and Shane Blackett are both sidelined with knee injuries.

Too many injuries for my taste... :?

Some experienced ones out for daggers today.Defenders Time Cole and Lee Goodwin together has almost 600 apps for Daggers. And former Queens Park Ranger midtfielder Paul Bruce is also an importnant member of the squad

Even worse for newmans men i would say.CD Mark Peters and Andy Duncan are likely to miss out again as well as attack midtfielder David Bridges plus best striker Daniel Carey-Bertram are suspended. Also striker Robbie Simpson is suspended while importnant midfielder Wolleaston is rated as 50/50

Comfortable home win 2-0

Grays away at Northwich Victoria (2.25 from 2.37!)

Match-up here:

I just can’t get my head round the odds that are offered on this match. In Grays we have a team that are starting to find some real momentum now. 3 wins in a row and 2 on the road against stronger teams than Northwich – Halifax and Rushden. They look like carrying on the form that took them to the play-offs and FA Trophy last season where they chalked up and amazing 14 away wins out of 17.

Newly promoted Northwich have the wrong kind of momentum currently. 3 losses in a row, Thrashed yesterday at Oxford (though apparently they weren’t as bad as the score-line suggests, more a case that Oxford were that good apparently) they’ve also lost both home games to Morecambe and Kidderminster.

The key statistic in this game for me is the goal scored / conceded. Grays are a free-scoring attacking side and have notched up 9 in four games against the Vic’s 2.

3 pts for me on last season away day specialists.

Dagenham & Redbridge to beat Cambridge United (2.1 Skybet)

Match-Up here:

http://www.nonleaguegambler.com/matc...?FixtureID=528

You can see that the Daggers have taken 7 useful points from their games against Cambridge’s 1. Their latest point comes away at Aldershot and only a very late equaliser prevented it from being for. They thrashed Tamworth at home and narrowly lost to 100%’ers Oxford.

As you can see Cambridge are winless. The key statistic in those games is the goals-scored column – 2. Cambridge have problems with injuries and suspensions. This is taken from their latest match report:

“Experienced central defenders Mark Peters and Andy Duncan, and midfielders Ritchie Hanlon and David Bridges were missing through injury today, striker Danny Carey-Bertram served the second match of a three match suspension, Robbie Simpson now misses the next two games through suspension, and the influential Rob Wolleaston had to be withdrawn with a foot injury in the second half today.”

Robbie Simpson got the Cambridge MOM award in their 2-1 home reverse to Halifax and the report continues:

“Robbie Simpson - hard-working as ever up front, he's probably the player to come out of the match with least discredit."

To compensate for the lack of firepower Y’s boss Newman handed 6’3” Marcus Richardson his debut yesterday and they changed their system to long-ball to try and expose his height. It didn’t work and Halifax left with their first win of the season.

Things don’t seem to be right and Cambridge City at the moment and given Dagenham’s recent performances against the league’s stronger sides I think this game should be odds on.

3 pts on the Daggers for me.

What happens when bookies make mistakes? I was on gamebookers.com and I could still bet on the half time score of Weymouth - Oxford Utd while they were already at half time...

Nothing happens, they will not accept your bet and will call it void later on...

I cant beilive that nobody mention for today two clear picks and that is:
Stevenage-Forest Green 1 & Exeter-Crawley 1.
Stevenage is still without win,the team which was before the start of league one of the main candidate for play off,and also Exeter who play against kids from Crawley!!

I agree with all of you about the pick on Grays. They started very well this season. They already won two away games vs Halifax and Rushden which are far better teams than Northwich. Another away win is very possible today.
