Spurs seem like a good bet so far. Spurs have won their last 7 games against Everton. Spurs have a good home record while Everton's away record is quite poor.
Odds on Spurs will probably drop so i might think of betting on Spurs soon. But i wanna look into it a bit more b4 commiting.
26/08/06 Football, England, Premiership -> Tottenham vs Everton
This will be the second time I put my money on Totenham. They lost the opening game of the season away at Bolton but Toffies came back on the track with a win over Sheffield United (2:0) several days ago. Both goals were scored early in the game and it was much easier to keep this game under control.Everton won the opening encounter at home against Watford(2:1), while they shared the points in the second game against Blackburn (1:1). They brought Andy Johnson this year and with James Beattie upfront they are always dangerous, but the problem lies in midfield where Tottenham should be much stronger IMO.Guests don`t have good memories when they played in Tottenham, as they managed to get only one draw in the last eight encounters. Almost all games ended as a high scoring ones and for the good of football, I hope it will be the same this time. I expect a home win - probable result 3:1! Good luck!

interesting game, you have to consider everton are a better team than sheff united and will come with a better defence and capable of scoring goals. Beattie in particular could cause problems, midfield is key and arteta needs to be kept shut for spurs, and then cahill. Spurs might be home and have the better team, but everton are certainly carrying a goal threat and as such I see no value in spurs here.
To me Cahill and beattie will be the men to provide the difference. Davids though may make it hard but i doubt he will be able to stop cahill. the austrlian is too wicked
Over 2 goals at above 1.65 looks tempting here. I can see goals in this game. Everton aren't as strong at the back as I expected them to be. But, they're excellent going forward. Arteta's vision, AJ and Beattie and the likes of Cahill to make runs from the middle of the park make them very good in the final third. Spurs usually play at a high tempo at home. There should be goals in this one. The big danger is 3 games in 7 days, if it stays 0-0 long enough it might fizzle away entirely. STill, something to think about there.
Last team news? Will Berbatov and JJ play for Spurs today?

great, I already took them, with or without these players Tottenham have a decent squad, but with Berbo upfront it will be a boost

spurs need to find someone in midfield because there getting outplayed there nearly everytime I see them, not to mention king's loss. EVERTON are looking dangerous, but they need to wrap arteta in cotton wool because he is key for me.

couldn't agree more.
