odds dont seem worth betting on before the game. Especially after remebering watchin games between these two (EPL, and FA Cup)

i'll probably be watchin the match and deciding then. Too risky betting b4 the game and anyway odds on Pool might go up during the game.. prob after HT if the score is still 0-0.

might throw a few quid at west ham at eights. Liverpool have yet to impress and west ham can cause an injury hit defence a few problems. Don't get me wrong I think liverpool are the better team, but not eight to one better, value on this wild shot for me.

any info abt the defence of liverpool?
last season they were rock solid on anfield road.
what do you think is liverpool to win to nill a good bet @2.38?

West Ham are one of the most attacking sides in the league, but without Ashton they don't really have any good finishers. That makes the 'Liverpool to win to nil' bet better than it might have been.

At the same time, I wouldn't make that bet with Carragher mising. Liverpool are without Jamie Carragher, John Arne Riise, Gabriel Paletta, Mohamed Sissoko, Stephen Warnock and Harry Kewell. That suggests a weaker than normal protection to the back four, and indeed a weaker than normal back four. I would take the over at 2.1 to 2.2 or the over 2 goals at anything around 1.6. The odds seem a bit short of that mark, so I've still not decided on this one. No bet, most likely.

zamora has three this season, harewood scored double figures lst season, cole off the bench, sheringham as well. A midfiled containing youssi benayoun and bowyer and ferdinand and gabbidon at set pieces, there's goals in there for me, especially with a weakened defence for liverpool.

how you doing thrax, been a while !
im not convinced of pools backline so far this season, hyypia is ageing and that click isnt there to snuff out pacey players in the last few games. Whether Pardews boys want to make up for the cup final i dunno, i know i would, and i wouldnt bet against West Ham getting a goal here neither, but either way i just can't chance West Ham +1.25 its just too risky, but i do think the game will cover this over2.5 line though...the scouser backline is just too sceptical to me.
So less of the 0-0 at HT please thrax...ay ay ay!

Zamora has been in good form this season. I don't think Harewood is a bad finisher either. Benayoun and Bowyer if they play are capable of finding an opening against Liverpool's defence.

With the constant chopping and changing of Liverpoo's backline there is no consistency there. Reina is also prone to going awol at times when coming for crosses. I think there is a good chance of the Hammers grabbing a goal.

Probably safe enough to back overs with 1-1 cover.

Well all of u r only pointing the weak side in Liverpool. But if we must be hones Liverpool has much better quality with this players than Ham.Yes they defenetely have some problems in defence but lets look at other parts of the field.Riise is missing but their is the new coming talent Mark Gonzales and in my opinion he'll soon start doing great job.Luis Garcia and Pennat(mostly) did great job against Haifa. And they will do some problems to Hams defence too and its far from being one of the Great.Crouch is in great form and is scoring like mad.And the come of Dirk Kuyt will make their attack look even great.Daniel Agger was doing very good too in the match against Haifa so he will be a good choice too.As for Gerard we all now what he is capable of..Not to mention that they have other players like Zenden and expirienced Fowler.Yes the odds r low but this season Liverpool have very large bench and I think situations like this will only increase the motivation of the players that r given chance and they will give everything they have and it is a lot.If Liverpool have any ambitions for the title they should win games like this and the start for Man Utd one of their main opponets will boost their motivation even more. For West Ham nothing exceptional with their game but Zamora is really doing great Herewood is a skillfull attacker and can do problems against any defence in premiership.Paul Konchesky is also doint great when he is fast attacking and crossing at the wing so I believe Ham can score but as a whole Liverpool will dominate in the game and result..of course if they have any real ambitions for the title. As in my country is said that 'The day is known by the morning" if u understand what i mean so ill risk it and take the low odds for the scouses but i will consider an OVER 2.5 goals too.

Liverpool doesn`t show their best form. gerrard was il in midweek, few important players is out, while West Ham is in form now and they have just one plauer who miss the game. IMO, it should be hard match for both team and i choose West Ham +1 @~2,19 7/10 pinnacle

as it seems after the 2 legs against Haifa in the champions league qualify and the first match in the premier league against Shef. utd. liverpoll are far far from its best shape. the newcamers - Bellami, Pennant and the spaniards need much more time and still didnt realise they are playing in a "big" team. in addition they have few injuries. Westham seems in better shape and have more options on the attcak. if they can hold the midfield and stop the counter attack liverpool system they have more than a good chance early today.

Benitez is a crazy coach, in every game he put some different squad, not the worst but definitly not the best. His game is constructed by defensive tactic so in Liverpool games is almost always losts of goals. I will try with X on a half time small stake, also good bet will be Over.

Very nice and open game from both sides. The only bad thing for this game was the terrible refering but were used to that in recent matches. The best news for coach Benites is that the new comer Kuyt is very highly motivated and find his places in them very good he communicates good with the ball and other players. The biggest problem for Ham was the low form of Herewood and Bowyer for today match..Congrats to all Liv'pool fans

great result fo liverpool, but they still look off the pace of chelsea and man united, even everton seem to be playing with more attacking intent this season.
West ham fans shouldn't worry lots of potential in that team, just needs some strengthning and see no reason why they can't make europe.
