Bremen : Hoffe
Hoffenheim has finally found a way to win Bundesliga matches again winning 2:1 at home against Hannover. Anyway, this win has been very costly as 4 first team players got injured. Andreas Beck will miss about 6 weeks with a serious knee injury. Also Obasi, Compper and Simunic are very doubtful for this important Cup match. In case none of them could play it would be a real disaster for this team especially for their defense. Bremen in the midst of a disappointing season will try to save that season like last year in the Cup matches (German Cup as well as Europe League). They will attack very hard and with their great offensive players in Pizarro, Marin and also Özil they will probably be a team too good to cope with for Hoffenheim under their current situation. I also believe in some goals in that match as Hoffe with this formation simply cannot play anything else but try to attack themselve. Yes it should become another fantastic Cup match with lots of goals.
BREMEN (-0.75) stakes 9 odds 1.95 Stan James
OVER 2.75 stakes 8 odds 1.94 10 bet

I am not sure if we will see a lot of goals in this match. ok of course both teams are famous for scoring many goals, but in the last time both teams had a bad run even (hoffe scored only twice in their last four liga matches )they could win during the weekend. but because their of their opponents ( hertha and hannover) i would not rate this too high. 2 of the 3 matches beetween them were under. this is a pokal match which is important for both teams to qualife for EL so i think they wont play a risky style of football espacielly in the first half. the under 2,5 is @ 2.2, i will wait if simunic and comper can play and will decide then

Osnabrück is without doubt the biggest value in this round. Odds on Schalke are a huge bookie mistake, should be 1.6 or even 1.7. The under is way overpriced as well. Better place your bets now because odds will drop
Osnabrück +1.5 at 1.85 was a gift, wanted to take it, but just when I deposited it dropped to 1.74. Still good, though.
Other good odds this round:
Werder - Hoffenheim under 2.75. Werder conceded too much last matches, will try not to concede again, both teams considerably weaker in terms of attacking these days, mid-week cup match, will be more of a fight. Line is too high.
Augsburg - Koln over 2.5. Main reason is that Koln changed their style of play lately, plus both these teams can score anytime.
Bayern -2 (odds dropped too much already). Hard not to go with Bayern these days. They literally blew away their opponents in their last games, Furth is on a good run but don't overrate them, their defense won't concede less than 2 in this match. If Bayern scores 3 against Wolfsburg and 3 against Mainz, they score at least 4 against Furth.

I could only underline all your recommendations for this Cup round with the exception of Werder - Hoffenheim under. Yes the line is rather high but I think that Bremen will at least score 2 goals against this weakened Hoffe defense and I also expect Hoffe to score at least 1 goal in such a Cup game cause they still have some offensive potential in players like Carlos Eduardo, Maicosuel and maybe also Ibisevic will score again. Everything depends on an early first goal then we could see another goal festival in that match. Thus I would go for the over or no over/under bet in that match.
Latest news from Hoffenheim are that Obasi and Beck wil definitely not play. The other doubtful players are all with the team but it will be a 50/50 chance whether they will play. Especially Compper is very doubtful. Maybe Simunic could play but he cannot be fully fit and also GK Hildebrandt also not fully fit. I really expect this weakened Hoffe defense to concede some goals tonight.
Again ALL your other recommendations look really great. I will follow you definitely.

Hoffenheim CL Winner, I didn't consider injured players so far, because I think this is generally overrated, but you know Hoffenheim better than me and if you say these missing players are a blow to their defense, I believe you of course
Let's wait before kickoff and see if they play, and if they don't, I'll at least lower my stake.

With Bremen taking in 8 goals in the last 3 matches and replying with 7 goals i think over 2.5 goals is this match against Hoffenheim is another option to look at.

Bremen - Hoffenheim
2010-02-09, 21:30
Soccer - Ger. DFB Pokal
Pick: Bremen (-1)
Stake: 8/10 Odds: 2.02
Bookmaker: 188bet
So far Werder season reminds me a rollercoaster. One day they are winning against Freiburg 6:0 and after that they are continue with 2 draws and 5 consecutive losses. On the weekend they managed to win again against lowly Hertha Berlin. Their attacking power was the main force in this season. Pizzaro, Ozil and Marin have been scoring a lot of goal. Today Hoffenheim will miss their key defenders A.Beck and J.Simunic. It will be very hard for them to stop Werder. Bundesliga fixture ended 2:0 in favor of Werder and similar result would be logical today.

Probably, but mixing league matches with cup matches can be painful. GL

Bremen : Hoffe
Kick Off in Bremen: Chaotic situation. Snow covered field. -5 degrees. Hoffe with a B-team cause Simunic, Obasi, Compper and Beck are missing. Can`t be anything else but a Bremen home win. Something like a sure bet to me as Hoffes problems in defense plus this terrible pitch conditions are really disastrous for a team like Hoffenheim.

Ribery will start. Timoschuk and Rensing should feature. Van Buyten is out as well as Klose, Schweinsteiger and Butt.
With Olic, Gomez, Robben and Ribery available, Bayern have enough firepower to destroy Furth.
Furth are currently 7th in Bundesliga 2. with a mediocre away record.
It would be useful to have some weather info, as it could prove significant.

i live in munich and i can say:
generally not snowing but sometimes there are a few snowflakes.
Weather services say that it could snow till evening ... so the pitch will be wet but I guess there wont be too much snow!

Weather in Augsburg is -6°C and snowing, can anyone confirm? I already sold my bet on over 2.5, I really liked it, but betting on overs is useless with bad weather conditions.
Weather in Osnabruck is -4°C and clear.

Yes it has, but falling snow and wet grounds is still a factor to consider.

You have to consider that Furth changed their coach during the winter break. the new coach changed a lot and they now play really strong. they destroyed current leader kaiserslautern 3-0, won at frankfurt 5-0 and last round they lost at Bielefeld 2-1 but they created a lot of chances in the first half and they only failed to score more than once (first half furth led 0-1). before the new coach arrived furth got more goals against them than any other team in the league but now their goal difference is 10:2 in four matches!
This is just for your information, but of course Bayern is really strong atm and with Robben and Ribery they can/will beat Furth, especially at home.

A little snow can't harm anyone as long it doesen't deposit on the pitch. I am sure that Bayern has warming instalations under the pitch. Did they clean the roof of Allianz Arena already?

over 2,5 is a good bet in augsburg! both teams are very good in offensiv, on the field there is a little bit snow, but it isn´t so much! they can play a good ball and i think, both teams will attack because there is a chance to play next year europa league! so i think the game will end over 2,5!

It depends (afaik). - In case of Köln yesterday, Podolski and Petit were sent off by second yellow cards while Chihi got plain red. A suspension by two yellow cards in same Cup game is only for next Cup match while a red card suspension can (but doesn't have to) mean sitting out in league games as well. German FA decides case-by-case. - Not 100% sure though.
